There have been a lot of great things imported from Mexico. I can think of several of my favorite dishes, the big floppy hats and the idea that nap in the afternoon is a darn good idea. There is one idea that does not need to cross the Rio Grande. Mutant boots from Mexico, please protect our borders from this insane fashion idea.

I can just see it now, trying to negotiate the mall in between pointed toe boots and teens texting on cell phones. Good Lord, protect us from this fashion menace!
