Narcotics Agents Make Drug Bust At Breaux Bridge Home

A Breaux Bridge man is behind bars after St. Martin Parish Sheriff's narcotics agents found $5,000 worth of marijuana at his home.

Sheriff's spokesperson Maj. Ginny Higgins reported agents executed the search warrant this afternoon at the home of Steven Ross in the Delcambre Trailer Park.

Along with the high-grade marijuana, agents found hydrocodone pills and a significant amount of cash.

Ross, 29, was booked into the St, Martin Parish Correctional Center on the following charges:

• Possession with the intent to distribute a schedule I controlled dangerous substance
• Possession of a schedule III controlled dangerous substance
