Neal McCoy Headlining 2015 Delcambre Shrimp Festival

One of our favorite festivals is just around the corner -- the 2015 Delcambre Shrimp Festival!

Every year during the third weekend in August, Acadiana descends down to the banks of the Delcambre canal to celebrate all that is the delicacy known as tasty Louisiana gulf shrimp.

In addition to shrimp prepared anyway you can imagine, the festival includes carnival rides, a shrimp cook-off, blessing of the fleet and a huge fais-do-do with live music from the region's best artists.

As always, the Shrimp Festival is highlighted by a national act on Saturday night and this year's headliner is a south Louisiana favorite. The great Neal McCoy will be the featured performer this year.
