New Iberia Man Arrested For Stabbing

A New Iberia man was arrested following a stabbing Saturday night.

A Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office spokesperson reported 56-yer-old Ronald Foster was arrested for aggravated battery for stabbing a man in the leg.

The incident occurred on Shot Street in west New Iberia around 7 p.m. yesterday.

The victim was transported to a Lafayette hospital for treatment of his wounds.

Foster was arrested and booked in the Iberia Parish jail for the aggravated battery charge and on a warrant for failure to appear.
