New Iberia Woman Accused Of Attacking Man With Car, Then Bringing Him To Hospital
31-year-old Tamika St. Julien of New Iberia now sits in the Iberia Parish Jail on a charge of attempted second degree murder after she allegedly drove her car into a man after she had had an altercation with him.
Captain Ryan Turner with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office says the 33-year-old victim was walking along Twenty Arpent Road near Lewis Street in New Iberia around 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, when St. Julian, a resident on that street, allegedly hit him with her vehicle. Detectives say St. Julian then drove the victim to the hospital, where he is in stable condition.
