I love it when people think outside of the box and choose to live in places most of us would never think of. I've seen amazing homes like train container homes, houses carved into the sides of mountains, even four bedroom tree houses, but I've never seen a gas station house. A New Orleans artist has indeed made his home out of an old 1920's gas station, and it's fantastic.

New Orleans artist Robert Guthrie took the old Sinclair Gas Station, built in 1918, and converted it into an awesome loft-style home in the Bayou St. John area. Not only did he make this his house, but he meticulously filled the home with car-themed decor to really give it a one-of-a-kind feel.
