New Orleans Bowl Send-Off For Ragin’ Cajuns Set For Tuesday

Game week is here and Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns will be heading down to the Big Easy on Tuesday as they get set to defend their R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl championship against the Tulane Green Wave on Saturday night.

Cajuns fans are invited out to Cajun Field on Tuesday at 12:45pm for the official team send-off. The Cajun Walk will happen at that time at Gate A and then the team will board buses to New Orleans. Food trucks will be positioned under the Alumni Oak Tree near Gate A.

“It’s a great way for fans and students to show their spirit for our Sun Belt Conference-champion football team as they depart for their third consecutive bowl appearance,” said Eric Maron, Assistant Director for Athletics Marketing and Promotions.

Fans can still get tickets for the New Orleans Bowl through the University by heading down to the Cajundome box office or downloading the ticket order form at www.ragincajuns.com.
