New Orleans Family Surrounded Their Mom With Beer, Cigarettes, And A Disco Ball For Her Funeral

I for one, am of the opinion, if this works for this family and brings them comfort, go for it. Everyone deals with things differently, and just because it's not how you would do things doesn't make it wrong. A little strange? Sure...but hey, normal is boring right?

Pictures and video of New Orleans resident Miriam Burbank's wake have been going viral over the past couple of days. The wake her family chose for her is why. Here, you see Miriam not in a casket, but propped up at a table surrounded by the things she loved in life...cold beer, good music and New Orleans Saints!

I definitely can't find fault in that...
