New Years Eve in Louisiana

Happy 2015, ya'll! If you are looking for a party to ring in the New Year, then you are definitely in the right place! Not only does Acadiana have lots of fun destinations for December 31, but all over the state of Louisiana you can find a unique way to celebrate. New Orleans will have live music and fireworks in Jackson Square, with a 'Only in Louisiana'  twist - a 9-foot electronic Fleur de Lis that will drop from a 25-foot pole from the French Quarter - awesome! The Acadiana area has many clubs and casinos with live music, and lots of ways to celebrate, including fun events at Vermilionville with Geno Delafose and French Rockin' Boogie, and the 18th annual New Year's Noon Celebration at the Children's Museum of Acadiana.
