Obituary for Joey Martin Feek

We are still so sad about the passing of country music singer Joey Martin Feek, of Joey + Rory, who passed away Friday after a long and courageous battle with cervical cancer. Her journey was documented by her loving husband Rory, in his blog 'This Life I Live - Scenes from One Man's Extraordinary Ordinary Life'.

Joey was diagnosed with cancer in 2014, just months after giving birth to her daughter Indiana, who has Down Syndrome. She went through surgeries, chemo, and radiation, but eventually, in October of 2015, decided to end her treatment, and return to her childhood home in Alexandria, Indiana. She passed away there peacefully on Friday, March 4, surrounded by her family.

No timeline has been given for services, as of yet, but Rory and their 2 year old daughter have returned to their family farm in Tennessee.
