Office Evacuated Because of White Powder in Envelope, Turns Out Someone Just Trying to Pay Bill With Crack
Yesterday morning in Deltona, Florida, a guy walked into a water department office and handed an employee an envelope and walked out. He was attempting to pay his bill.
When the employee opened the envelope she found white powder inside. So the folks at the water department called the cops and a hazmat team was dispatched to try to figure out what the powder was. Was it anthrax or poison or some other lethal substance?
Nah, it was just crack cocaine.
Seems the guy didn't have the money to pay for his bill so tried to pay for it with crack.
The sheriff's department is trying to track him down.
