Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns softball team dominated the first game of the best of three Super Regional last night against Arizona State as they came out with a 6-0 win.

Freshman sensation Jordan Wallace was dominate in the circle as she held the defending national champions to just two hits en route to the shut out.

At the plate, the Cajuns pounded out 12 hits including back-to-back homers in the fourth inning by Paige Cormier and Sarah Draheim. UL added a run in the fifth and three more insurance runs in the seventh inning.

The Cajuns play Game 2 of the series tonight at 8pm. The game will be broadcast on ESPNU and on the radio at ESPN 1420 and espn1420.com.

If UL wins, they move on to the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City. An Arizona State win, and a third and deciding game would be necessary later in the evening.
