One of the Kids from ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ Commits Suicide

Sawyer Sweeten, who played Ray Romano's son Geoffrey on "Everybody Loves Raymond", died yesterday of an apparent suicide yesterday. He was only 19.

Sawyer and his twin brother, Sullivan, played Geoffrey and Michael Barone on the hit sitcom which ran from 1996 to 2005. Their sister Madylin also appeared on the show, playing their sister Ally Barone on the series.

Madylin wrote on her Facebook page Thursday afternoon, "At this time I would like to encourage everyone to reach out to the ones you love. Let them have no doubt of what they mean to you."

Radar Online reported that he was visiting family in Texas when he stepped out onto the front porch and shot himself.

Sadly, Sweeten was only weeks away from his 20th birthday.
