One Person Dies In I-10 Crash

A fatal two-vehicle crash on I-10 causing some problems.

Our news partners at KATC say a car was towing another car when the towed car broke away, crossed the median and crashed into an oncoming vehicle.

One person was killed, two have minor injuries and one has moderate injuries.

According to KATC, the dead victim was sitting in the backseat of the vehicle that was crashed into and was not wearing a seatbelt.

The outside lane of I-10 was temporarily blocked at mile marker 112 eastbound, between Breaux Bridge and Henderson.
