Last night the Powerball jackpot was $487 million. That was the fifth-largest jackpot in Powerball's history.

And according to lottery officials, one person in New Hampshire holds the winning ticket. The winning ticket was sold at the Hannaford Supermarket in Raymond, New Hampshire.

The winning numbers drawn were 11-17-21-23-32 and Powerball 5.

The odds of buying the winning ticket are 1 in 292 million, according to Powerball.

It has been quite the year for Powerball jackpots as earlier this year you may recall when it got up to the highest in the game's history at nearly $1.6 billion. Winning tickets for that drawing were sold in Florida, California and Tennessee.

Powerball is played in 44 states (including Louisiana of course), the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
