Opelousas Lundi Gras Celebration

Happy Mardi Gras, friends! We have SO many fun and cool events going on for Carnival season that it's sometimes hard to keep up! The City Of Opelousas will present their third annual Lundi Gras Celebration at the Opelousas Civic Center, 1638 Creswell Lane, on Monday, February 16, 2015 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 pm. Music will be provided by Horace Trahan and the Ossun Express. Admission will be free, but beverages sales for the concert will go towards covering the cost of bands and event expenses, so please leave your ice chests at home.Face-painting and a contest for the best Mardi Gras costume will also be held, so get your best costume ideas going for this fun and traditional Mardi Gras event!
