If you stroll into the police station to file a complaint against someone, here's a tip, don't bring marijuana!

That's exactly what happened earlier this week in Opelousas. 31-year-old Jernita Williams went to the Opelousas police station to file a complaint against someone but while sitting, a bag of marijuana fell from her clothing.

Police Chief Perry Gallow said the building's security cameras were reviewed and it was clearly evident that the bag belonged to Ms. Williams.

He said that Ms. Williams was contacted the next day and was asked to return to the office, where she was booked on possession of marijuana. She has since bonded out.
