Fifteen Academy Awards statuettes from the 1930s and '40s, including the Best Screenplay Oscar given to Herman Mankiewicz for "Citizen Kane," have been sold at a Los Angeles auction. You know, I always thought those statues were something so cool and special-I can't ever imagine selling one just for the money. If you've ever been to Sinatra's Steakhouse at the Encore in Las Vegas, you got to see Frank Sinatra's Oscar for his 1954 performance in "From Here to Eternity". Pretty awesome, even though I would probably keep it in my house!
