Over 2,800 Entergy Customers in Carencro Without Power (Schools Closed)

Power went out in Carencro for a little over 2,800 Entergy customers after a power line went down. This occurred around 3:00am.

Entergy has a crew working on the problem and hope to have power restored around 10am this morning.

UPDATE: Due to the power outage, Carencro High School, Carencro Middle School and Carencro Heights Elementary are closed. Faculty and staff are to report to campus.
