OWI Checkpoint Schedule for Tonight (Saturday) in Lafayette

Between the hours of 9:00pm and 3:00am tonight, there will be an OWI checkpoint in Lafayette. The Lafayette Police Department will be conducting the checkpoint within the incorporated limits.

The purpose of the checkpoint is to target impaired drivers under the influence of alcohol or any other dangerous substance. Officers working the checkpoint will respond with zero tolerance to those drivers found under the influence.

As always, if you intend to partake in alcohol, designate a driver. It's safe, smart and the right thing to do.
