If you're reading this, it's not a dream…the Cajuns have won their first Bowl game in the history of the university. In one of the most amazing comebacks the Cajuns have ever done, 35 seconds on the clock proved to be just enough time for UL quarterback Blaine Gauthier, Javone Lawson, Harry Peoples and Brett Baer (as well as the offensive line) to pull out a miraculous victory over San Diego State. If you changed the channel and didn’t watch the last 15 seconds of the game, be sure to catch the replay. In what can be called one of the most amazing finishes in Cajuns football history (including the win over Texas A&M in the 90′s), Brett Baer’s first 50 yard field goal gave the Cajuns it’s first Bowl victory in the history of the university’s program.
December 17, 2011 Well folks hard to believe that there are only three games left in the regular season for the New Orleans Saints. The Black and Gold already have locked up a spot in the post season thanks to their win last week and the Broncos beating the Bears. Now it's about two things, winning the NFC South and trying to get the second seed of the NFC playoff standings.
December 16, 2011 Ragin Cajun fans can wear their support for Coach Hud and the boys proudly on their cars again this year. Rouses Supermarket on Betrand Drive across from Cajun Field is hosting another Ragin Cajun Car Painting event from 1pm until 4p to help fans get ready for the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl.
