Suspicion is running high on Brad Paisley‘s tour with Scotty McCreery and the Band Perry. After McCreery pranked Paisley last Saturday night (Feb. 25) at their Springfield, Mo. show, the young singer started watching his back more than normal. And, with only today and tomorrow (March 3) left in their run together, McCreery must just be itching to see if Paisley’s going to retaliate.
She was seemingly country music’s final holdout, but with the release of her new song ‘Good Girl’ Carrie Underwood has decided to join Twitter. The singer signed on just before 12PM ET on Friday, and within an hour was following 18 people and had over 10,000 followers.
Yep, it’s true that Brad Paisley has been taking some humorous shots at Paul McCartney‘s most recent album title. At the same time, it’s also true that Sir McCartney selected a moniker he most certainly assumed might take some flack from the music community. Last Saturday night (Jan. 28), Vanessa Pritt from Charleston, W.V. was enjoying a Brad Paisley concert in Las Vegas with her boyfriend, Jason Davis, when Paisley reportedly handed Davis the mic in the middle of a song. Getting down on one knee, Davis asked Pritt to be his wife. Paisley, meanwhile, recorded the whole proposal from the stage on his iPhone.
During Saturday night’s Virtual Reality Tour stop in Denver, Colo. (Jan. 21), Brad Paisley called hometown hero Tim Tebow — who was at the show with his brothers and friends — to the stage. The Denver Broncos quarterback was brought onstage prior to Paisley performing his No. 1 hit, ‘I’m Still a Guy,’ and the athlete helped the singer out, doing surprise duet for the unsuspecting crowd.

This week, the CMA announced more artists who have signed on to perform as part of the 2012 CMA Music Festival held in Nashville in June. Carrie Underwood is nearing completion of her new, yet-to-be-titled fourth album (due out in 2012), and she says the songs she’s chosen were influenced by time spent in studio with Tony Bennett, Steven Tyler and Brad Paisley. The 28-year-old also tells Entertainment Weekly that the album’s songs will include darker storylines.
