Evangeline Downs Racetrack & Casino begins its 47th consecutive thoroughbred racing season on Wednesday evening, April 18. Evangeline Downs will offer a total of 84-nights of racing throughout the spring and summer that will be conducted on a four-evening-a-week schedule.
March 26, 2012 It seems some lads were enjoying an afternoon at the races as part of a bachelor party. I am guessing there was drinking involved. I am also guessing that at least one member of the wedding party might have missed the ceremony due to grass stains in a private area or being arrested.

May 4, 2011 I once won a lot of money on a horse named Mel's Woo Woo, which I always thought was kind of funny to say. This Saturday a whole lot of horse flesh will be going two turns for two million dollars in the Kentucky Derby. Right now it's hard to say who the favorite will be come post time shortly after 5pm but one thing is for sure, none of the horses names will make you laugh like these will.
