Wednesday is the beginning of the 2016 Festivale Internationale de Louisiane, aka Festival International. Thousands upon thousands of locals and out-of-towners will be descending upon the Hub City for one of the world's most eclectic festivals.

And with that many people comes the age-old question: "Where do I park?"

Well, it's pretty simple, park at Cajun Field and take the shuttle. Yeah, you may know someone who has a pad or business near downtown and they'll hook you up with a parking spot. For the majority of us, it's easier to do the aforementioned.

Simply park at Cajun Field and hop on one of the Super Chevy Dealers of Acadiana Festival shuttle. This is a free service and you'll never wait long as buses run every 15 minutes.

On Sunday, however, the parking and shuttle location will be Blackham Coliseum.

Shuttle stops at two downtown locations: 1) Jefferson & Lee Intersection 2) Garfield & Buchanan Intersection.

The shuttle schedule is as follows:

Thursday: 5:00pm – 11:30pm
Friday: 4:00pm – 11:30pm
Saturday: 10:30am – Midnight
Sunday: 10:30am – 8:00pm

Handicap parking is available in the Downtown parking garage located on Buchanan Street. Each stage at Festival International de Louisiane has wheelchair accessibility. Wheelchairs and medical scooters are permitted on Festival grounds.
