LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) — Police say a man was killed after being struck twice while crossing a roadway in Lafayette.

Investigators tell KPLC-TV that 27-year-old Justin Bradley was walking on Southeast Evangeline Thruway late Thursday when a northbound car struck him. After the impact, Bradley landed in the roadway and was struck by another northbound car.

Bradley was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

Lafayette police say no charges have been filed against the drivers.
