Pick Up Pool Party In Downtown Lafayette [Video]

It's August and that means it's hot. When it's hot you want to spend some time at the pool. The drive from downtown to your favorite place to splash will get a lot shorter on August 23rd. That's the hottest night of the year and 97.3 The Dawg is going to help you cool off.

The Hottest Night of the Year is a celebration in Lafayette's downtown area. Think of it as Downtown Alive meets Blue Bayou. To keep you cool and comfortable you can be a part of the pick up truck pool party. All you have to do is reserve your spot and then turn the back of your truck  into a portable pool. Here is how you can secure your spot and sign up for the event.

The Hottest Night of the Year will also feature great live music and our good friend DJ Digital spinning the tunes. Best of all it's a free event that has the family in mind. The fountains at Parc San Souci will be turned on, there will be other ways to get wet and plenty of ice cold beverages to knock the heat right out of the afternoon.
