Potential Witnesses In Sexual Assault At Acadiana Mall

Lafayette Police have released the security surveillance photo (shown above) of two male subjects that officers believe may have information about the alleged crime in which a man is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in the parking lot of the Acadiana Mall the day after Christmas.

Lafayette Police Cpl. Paul Mouton said in Dec. 26 that the victim was sitting in her vehicle when a man opened her door and pointed a gun at her. The victim told investigators that she was forced into the back seat where she was sexually assaulted. A sketch of the suspect has been released by police (shown below)
