Police Urging Residents To Stay Home And Keep Off The Roads

As we deal with day two of serious rain during already flooded conditions, police are asking us to stay at home and off the streets as much as possible.

From KATC -

State troopers are reporting rising water on all roads in Troop I.  If you do have to get on the road, do not drive into standing water as that water may be deeper than it looks.  If you are trapped in your home, dial 911.

With emergency personnel already spread thin around Acadiana, the last thing we want to do is get stranded and add to it. Be safe!
