It seems like every year there is a new word or phrase that catches on and we all quickly come to understand its meaning. In the world of politics the association of a name and suffix have created some of the more nifty new phrases for the year 2010. “Palinism” and “Obama-mess” are likely to be among the top global words of 2011, as the United States gears up for its next presidential elections, according to a language monitoring group.
