For a parent, it can be a slippery slope when it comes to kids and cell phones. We want our kids to have some privacy, but we want to make sure they're safe. We all snoop on our kids phones from time to time to make sure everything is OK, but we might not be seeing the important things. GMA recently sat six preteen girls and their parents down to talk about all of this, and the information divulged from the kids might shock you. If you have kids who have phones, you need to watch this.

In the video below, the girls reveal some secret apps they use on their cell phones that their parents are clueless about. Apps like askfm, Fensta, and other apps that appear to be calculators, but with a code unlock to reveal pictures.

The girls also reveal the inappropriate behavior they sometimes experience on these apps. Yep, it's the stuff parental nightmares are made of.

Now, if your kid does have these apps on their phone, it doesn't automatically mean they're up to no good, but it's absolutely a conversation that needs to happen.
