Prince’s Cause Of Death Ruled As ‘Opioid Overdose’

UPDATE - The Associated Press is reporting the official cause of Prince's death is "opioid overdose".

It is not known if the drugs were being prescribed by a doctor, or doctors, or how Prince was getting the opioids.

What was the cause of Prince's death? Yesterday the entire world was shocked to learn of Prince's tragic death at the age of 57. Today, the coroner's office completed a four hour autopsy, but revealed no cause of Prince's death.

Now, the cause of death won't be revealed until the toxicology report is released, and should take several weeks.

In the press conference held today, we learned Prince was last seen Wednesday night at 8:00pm. He was pronounced dead at 10:07am the next morning.

TMZ also reports Prince was spotted mere hours before his death at Walgreen's, appearing sweaty and pacing around in a nervous manner.
