Principal Diagnosed With Cancer Receives Incredible Gift From Her Senior Class [Video]
The saying goes, 'Do unto to others as you would have done for you.' This quote speaks volumes for showing respect and kindheartedness for those around you. Nothing could be more true than for this New Hampshire senior class.
Just recently, the principal of Profile Junior-Senior High School in New Hampshire, Courtney Vashaw, was diagnosed with an aggressive soft-tissue cancer called synovial sarcoma. This hit her students hard, especially when she informed them that she would be missing school because of the disease. So her senior class decided that something needed to be done.
They decided that the money that they raised to go on their bus trip for the end of the year should instead by donated to Vashaw to help with her medical expenses. The total was $8,000...
The power of kindness is incredible. My challenge for you, do something nice for someone. You never know what wars they are fighting.
