Racing Resumes Tonight at Evangeline Downs

After having to cancel Wednesday night's race card, Evangeline Downs Racetrack & Casino in Opelousas has announced that racing will resume tonight. Post time for the first race is 5:40pm tonight.

Steve Darbonne, director of racing operations for Evangeline Downs stated, “we will be conducting business as usual. The track is in great shape and we are ready to get back to live racing.”

The track has added Tuesday, September 4 as a make-up day for the Wednesday card that was canceled due to the approaching storm.
