It's been a hecuva year for Coach Tony Robichaux and Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns baseball team. We knew going into today's Selection Show on ESPNU that the Cajuns would be hosting a regional and now we know who we're playing.

The #6 national seeded Cajuns (53-7) will take on SWAC tournament champs Jackson State (31-23) in the first game of the Lafayette Regional which kicks off on Friday at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field. That game is set for 6pm.

In the earlier game, set for 1pm, Mississippi State (37-22) will square off against San Diego State (42-19).

The regional continues Saturday and Sunday with Monday for the "if necessary" game. Each of the nation's 16 regionals are a basic double-elimination tournament.

The Lafayette regional winner will take on the Oxford regional winner (Ole Miss, Jacksonville State, Georgia Tech, Washington) in the super regionals. Should the Cajuns win the regional, they would host the super regional.

Tickets for the regional are now available to season ticket holders until noon on Tuesday. Booklets, good for all seven games, are $70 for grandstand seats, $60 for patio box seats and $50 for the bleachers.

Following season ticket holders will be 2014 RCAF annual fund donors. Donors are encouraged to place their order for additional sessions or regional booklets by the 5pm deadline on Wednesday. Ticket orders can be made on RaginCajuns.com or by calling (337) 265-2170.

All remaining tickets after season ticket holders and RCAF members have purchased will then be made available to the public at 10am on Friday. The Cajundome ticket office will be open this week from 10am-8pm.
