The University of Louisiana Lafayette will be represented well at Super Bowl 50 this Sunday, with former Ragin' Cajun Charles 'Peanut' Tillman! Peanut will be the second Cajun to play in a Super Bowl, the other, of course, being Jake Delhomme, who also played for the Carolina Panthers in the 2003 Super Bowl. Tillman, who will turn 35 later this month, has been to the Pro Bowl twice, been named to the All-Pro team once, and was also named the Walter Payton 'NFL Man of the Year' in 2013. He is also a 3 time Brian Piccolo Courage Award winner, a recipient of the Ed Block Courage Award, and is a Salute to Service Award winner. In his 13 seasons as an NFL cornerback, he has also been to the Super Bowl with the Chicago Bears already.

Although he won't see any action on the field because of a torn ACL, which he got in the regular-season finale, he's still looking for that Championship ring to add to his collection. Tillman did an extensive interview with the Baton Rouge Advocate, and we know he will be representing the great state of Louisiana, and the Ragin' Cajuns well on Sunday!
