Ragin’ Cajuns Signing Day Celebration This Afternoon at UL Student Union

One of the biggest days of the year for the Ragin' Cajuns football team happens today as Coach Mark Hudspeth and the program celebrate National Signing Day. To mark the day, all UL fans are invited to come out to the UL Student Union Ballroom this afternoon for a celebration.

The annual "Football Signing Bash" party, presented by Gulf Coast Bank, will begin at 5:30pm. Doors will open at 5:00pm. Admission is free and there will be complimentary beverages from Coca-Cola and Schilling Distributing.

Gulf Coast Bank and Coca-Cola will be handing out t-shirts while supplies last.

Free parking will be available at Olivier Parking Tower on McKinley Street and in the parking lot adjacent to Earl K. Long Gym.

The evening will include an introduction of the 2016 Ragin' Cajuns football recruits plus insights from the coaching staff into the recruiting process.

The UL football program is looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2015 campaign in which they went 4-8. In the first four years of the Hudspeth era though, the team finished 9-4 each season, capped with a R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl championship.
