If you want a chance to meet the newest member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, and one of Acadiana's fantastic local musicians, then you need to put May 21 on your calendar and head to Opelousas for the premiere of 'The Price'.

Acadiana's own James Dupré and Randy Travis star in the 2015 movie directed by Kim Hughes, about a country music legend who attempts to make amends with a son he never knew, who is also an aspiring musician.

The movie will be shown in Opelousas on May 21 at Opelousas Cinema, and will be a benefit for St Jude Children's Research Hospital, Kops-N-Kids, and Cerebral Palsy.

A meet-and-greet and reception with Randy Travis and James Dupre will be held at Toby's Lounge and Reception Center, and tickets will be available for $30.

Tickets for the movie showing alone will be $10 and both can be purchased by calling the St Landry Chamber of Commerce at 337-942-2683.
