Rayne Frog Festival November 15th!

The 42nd annual Rayne Frog Festival will be held in the Frog Capitol of America - Rayne, La., on Saturday, November 15th! A carnival will be held on Thursday, November 13, and Friday, November 14, from 5:00 pm- 10:00 pmM and the  one day 'Extravaganza' will be held from noon until midnight Saturday, with great local music, arts and crafts, and of course, awesome food. Admission is $5, and kids 12 and under are free. Gates open Saturday at 10:00 am, and opening ceremonies will be held at 10:15, so make plans to bring the family out for a great time in Rayne!

The one-day festival was scheduled because the annual Rayne Frog Festival is “moving” to May 6-9 in 2015 with a full schedule of music, delicious foods and drinks, signature events such as frog racing and jumping, selection of the Rayne Lions Club Derby Queen, Diaper Derby, Arts & Crafts show at the Civic Center and the Grande Parade.
