Reba McEntire is open about her divorce from her ex-husband and former manager Narvel Blackstock in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, naming "God, my girlfriends, my family" and work among that elements of life that got her through that tough experience. And, the superstar says, she's open to falling in love again in the future.

"I'm just taking it one day at a time and loving life and enjoying being with my friends and family as much as I possibly can," McEntire says in a sit-down with ET's Nancy O'Dell.

The singer was "blindsided" by the split from her husband of 26 years, but says, "I think it's always nice to have somebody to go to dinner with and fall in love with, I don't see anything wrong with that at all."

McEntire and Blackstock split in 2015 — their divorce was finalized last December. The singer has plans to spend the holidays with daughter-in-law Kelly Clarkson and stepson Brandon Blackstock, Clarkson's husband, this year.

"She's very loving," the red-headed country icon says about what she loves about Clarkson as a mom, adding that the pop singer and mother of two is "saucy" and knows when to put her foot down with daughter River Rose and son Remington Alexander. "She's hysterical with them."

McEntire is following the example of many of her peers with the release of her third Christmas album, Reba: My Kind of Christmas, in partnership with Cracker Barrel. The project features a handful of the redhead's favorite holiday tunes, including "I'll Be Home for Christmas," "O Come All Ye Faithful," "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" and more.

She's also excited that she and Brooks & Dunn are extending their Las Vegas residency with several new dates in 2017, making the show the longest running country show in Vegas.

"I love going to Vegas, and hanging out with Ronnie and Kix, who wouldn't? They're so much fun," McEntire says. Reba, Brooks & Dunn: Together in Vegas continues through the end of next year.
