Red White And Boom – Acadiana Symphony Celebrates The Fourth Of July

Fireworks, great music and a spectacular evening in downtown Lafayette. That is what you will find this Fourth of July at Red, White and Boom presented by the Acadiana Symphony.

This year's event features Grammy Award winner Chubby Carrier live on stage in Parc International. Lafayette's Bayou Boys will also be featured as well as Corey Ledet and his Zydeco Band on the Freedom Fest stage. In addition to the music there will also be a special KidsZone at Parc San Souci.

The grand finale fireworks show is slated to go off at approximately 9:30 and promises to not disappoint. You  might recall last year's show ended sooner than expected because of a technical glitch brought on by wet weather. This year the show will fire in its entirety and a great patriotic evening will be celebrated in downtown Lafayette.

The cost is $5 and proceeds benefit the Acadiana Symphony's education programs for children.
