In the wonderful world of radio broadcasting the idea of moving every few years is not to foreign. Most radio people I know actually have the U-Haul folks on speed dial. So we have all rented furniture, it's much more economical than hauling stuff with you every time you move. That being said, I always thought that rented merchandise was the same as purchased merchandise, you still had your privacy! Apparently that is not the case as one couple found out when their rented computer took a compromising picture of them.

I can understand any body's need to get paid, but in this case the bill was paid, the receipt was in hand and the company is wrong. The fact that there is software that does this is wrong, at least in my opinion.

I am surprised that many I-phone users haven't awakened to find Steve Jobs in their bedroom going through their underwear drawer. What do you think? Should a company be allowed to use this kind of software that would compromise personal liberty and basic privacy without the consumer knowing?
