We've all done it. You have leftovers in the fridge from a great meal, but in the hustle and bustle of life you forget about it and it spoils! That's always a disappointing feeling.

Well, Tiffiany (the "Lafayette Food Junkie") and Chef Zack have these tips for reorganizing your fridge so you can best avoid this happening again.

  • Place food in order of how much it needs to be cooked on shelves
  • Keep condiments and juices in the door - it's the warmest area
  • Keep fruits in crisper drawer with vent open
  • Keep vegetables in drawer with vent closed

"The Lafayette Food Junkie Show," which has been airing from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Sunday nights here on Newstalk 96.5 KPEL, has given Lafayette and the Acadiana area its own show dedicated to the food we all love to enjoy and talk about since November of 2013!

Tiffiany and Zack also discussed her recent juice cleanse that she partook in. Find out if it would be beneficial for you!
