As the story of convicted murder Benjueil Johnson's accidental release from prison gains national attention, the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Crime Stoppers reportedly are offering cash rewards for information leading to his capture.

Johnson was serving a 40 year sentence in Dixon Correctional Institute in Jackson, La., for manslaughter and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Johnson was accidentally released for good behavior on Sept. 23rd when his file didn't show his manslaughter conviction.

According to foxnews.com, if you have information that leads to Johnson's capture, it could earn you a reward of up to $6,000.
