Rice Festival Grand Marshal

You may have heard about this one already but if not here goes. The 75th International Rice Festival has itself a Grand Marshal.

Former Governor Edwin Edwards is being released from prison, but before he is even released to a half-way house he already has an appearance scheduled. The gig-- Grand Marshal of the Rice Festival Parade in Crowley in October.

 He's scheduled to head to a halfway house this month and his official release date is set for some time this summer.
