RiverFront Restaurant in Abbeville Gets Demolished

You may recall that back in September a fire destroyed the RiverFront Restaurant in Abbeville. At the time, the owners said they would repair and re-open.

Unfortunately that could not happen and on Friday the building was demolished.

There is good news however. The owners do plan to rebuild, but at a different location.

Personally, I am very sad that this fabulous restaurant, which has been in business for decades, will not be located on the beautiful river by the bridge. The food was fantastic and the view from the "back porch" was about the most unique experience you could have while dining in south Louisiana. But, I'm sure it'll come back even stronger than before.
