As the Final season of AMC's "Breaking Bad" comes to what will be a ridiculously dramatic end,  Actor RJ Mitte, who plays Walt Jr on the show, is already working hard on the next project he's involved with. "Vanished - The Tara Calico Story" is a documentary telling the story of 19 year old Tara Calico, a promising University of New Mexico student who disappeared about 150 yards from the Rio Communities golf course near her home in Belen, New Mexico. Up until 5 years ago her case was believed to be a kidnapping. However on June 15th, 1989, a Polaroid of an unidentified young woman and a boy, bound and gagged in the back of a van was found in a parking lot at a convenience store in Port St. Joe, Florida. There has been much speculation on whether the young lady in the photo is Tara Calico, in which her mother, Patty Doel, believed it was.

In September 2008, the 20th anniversary of Tara's disappearance, the Valencia County News Bulletin published an article stating that Rene Rivera, Sherriff of Valencia County, knew what happened to Tara Calico. Rivera states, he knows the names of the boys now men that that committed the crime and the parents that covered it up, but without a body or her pink bike he cannot bring this case to trial.

Director, Melinda Esquibel, sets out to uncover the truth about what happened to her former classmate and friend, and the danger that soon follows in telling a secret that has been buried for twenty three years.
