Robber In Disguise Targets Lafayette Pharmacy

An armed robber in disguise targeted a Lafayette pharmacy yesterday and got away with a stash of controlled substances.

Sgt. Kyle Soriez with the Lafayette Police Department says a black man wearing a red, curly-haired wig and a camo military hat brandished a gun before robbing the CVS pharmacy on Moss Street.

It's believed the suspect fled in a silver Nissan Altima. Anyone with information is asked to call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
