An icon of New Orleans, Rock 'n' Bowl has just announced they are expanding to Downtown Lafayette!

The music venue & bowling alley is set to open in Lafayette in 2017 in the old Whitney Bank building at 911 Lee Avenue in Downtown.

From developinglafayette.com -

The first two floors will be Rock ‘n’ Bowl with live music from a variety of different genres, not just Cajun or Zydeco. The first floor will be 16 bowling lanes with stage for musical guest. The second floor will be catered space and party suites that overlook the lanes and stage. Party-goers will be able to enjoy the sights & sounds from the second floor.

How great does this sound?!? I've always loved going to Rock 'n' Bowl in New Orleans, so I'm pretty exited for this.

The venue plans to feature heavily on live music from the Cajun and Zydeco genres. That won't be all however, rock and traditional New Orleans bands will also be in the mix.

Rock 'n' Bowl has plans to open in late 2017.
