Ever wonder why in baseball everyone is always reminding each other how many outs there are? It's because we are forgetful human beings, that's why.

And if forgetting how many outs there are in an inning while you're in the outfield happens to you, well, the results can be a bit humorous.

It happened over the weekend to Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones. He caught a fly thinking there were three outs when in fact it was only two outs. He starts jogging towards the dugout and a run scored.

Turns out it wasn't a huge deal in the end, as the Orioles got creamed 10-2.
