The New Orleans Saints Assistant Head Coach/Tight Ends Coach Dan Campbell is receiving requests from two teams about their head coaching vacancies. The Cleveland Browns and the Green Bay Packers.

As Ian Rapoport mentions, he did impress in Miami in 2015 when he got an opportunity to coach the team in an interim fashion. He was named the interim head coach when the team started 1-3 and fired Joe Philbin. After Campbell took over the job he went 5-7.

Dan Campbell has been with New Orleans in his current capacity since 2016. Both the Cleveland Browns and Green Bay Packers have two of the most attractive head coaching vacancies in the league.

The Cleveland Browns went 7-8-1 this past season which is a vast improvement over the previous 1-31 they went the last two seasons. They employ one of the most dangerous young quarterbacks in the league in Baker Mayfield as well as many youthful defensive players. Cleveland is a huge football town that is just thirsting to get back to some semblance of glory.

For the Green Bay Packers, their attractiveness is all about quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The team also has a couple of nice pieces in Pro Bowl wide receiver Devante Adams, young running back Aaron Jones, linebacker Blake Martinez, and cornerback Jaire Alexander.
